Lundy Island Chronicle masthead

The Lundy Island Chronicle was first produced in Spring 1983. The first two editions were four pages, and on paper larger than A4. Edition 3 was also in this large size but eight pages long, though not stapled. The remaining three issues stayed at eight pages, unstapled, but in standard A4 size.

The Chronicle was edited by Louise Melhuish and Wendy Puddy, who, with their husbands, lived and worked on Lundy. Louise Melhuish and her family left Lundy after the third issue and Wendy Puddy continued as sole Editor until the sixth and final edition in Spring 1988.

With the kind permission of Derek Green for the Landmark Trust, the Lundy Island Chronicle has now been made available on a strictly non-commercial basis as searchable PDFs so that Lundy enthusiasts and researchers can easily access this important resource. The copyright of all editions of the Lundy Island Chronicle remains with the Landmark Trust.
